You flick on the radio and scan the channels hoping to find a local radio station with some news about the traffic jam. You're in luck.

"...and now a traffic update. On the motorway, if you're headed north this morning you could be in for a wait as police roadblocks remain in place following the incident. Other main routes north of the City remain equally as slow..."
